This page provides the opportunity for downloading all the latest guidance documents that have been developed by DNV in close cooperation with industry partners and CCS regulators around the world.

DNV-led joint industry projects covering the CO2 value chain.

RP-J201 Qualification Procedures for CO2 Capture Technology
This recommended practice provides a systematic procedure that explains in detail how to identify, describe, and manage risks with the implementation of new CO2 capture technology in a quantitative way by following a set of sequential steps known as the qualification process. RP-J201 can be downloaded from this page.

RP-J202 Design and Operation of CO2 Pipelines
This recommended practice provides guidance for managing risks and uncertainties during the whole lifetime of a CO2 pipeline, including design, testing, inspection, operation, maintenance, and de-commissioning. The document incorporates lessons learned from existing CO2 pipelines. RP-J202 can be downloaded from this page.
An update of this recommended practice is currently under development through a Joint Industry Project (JIP) managed and coordinated by DNV. Read more about the CO2PIPETRANS Phase 2 project here.
