The introduction to corporate responsibility course explains the concept and drivers of corporate responsibility (CR) and will help you anticipate and address CR related challenges in your organisation.

Course description
The course provides you with the opportunity to learn and to understand the concept of CR and the business benefits, it provides you with tools to implement CR in your organisation, and to understand the implications this might have on the operational and the strategic levels within the organisation.

Learning objective
• Become aware of the main drivers for CR in society, so that you can understand the challenges of your organisation better.
• Raise understanding of corporate responsibility issues in general, so that you can take CR actions within your organisation.
• Understand the steps of CR-implementation, so that you can be equipped better to recognise the need for CR-strategies in your organisation.
• Understand corporate responsibility challenges in an organisation, so that you can be equipped better to recognise operational challenges and implications related to implementation of CR strategies.

Pre-requisite
No prior knowledge is required, as this course is designed as an entry level understanding of CR and which implications the implementation of CR can have on an organisation.

Course programme
• Explain the concept and drivers of corporate responsibility
• Identify the benefits of adopting CR as a business approach
• Help ensure that your organisation’s CR performance is effective
• Anticipate and address the CR-related challenges in your organsation

This is a one day course and can be arranged for a minimum of four participants up to a maximum of 20 for one trainer. It can be held as an in house course upon request.
